Inspirada no movimento internacional das CryptoParties, a CryptoRave é um esforço coletivo para difundir os conceitos fundamentais de privacidade e liberdade na Internet e ampliar a adoção de práticas e ferramentas de segurança digital (comunicação com criptografia, entre elas). Estamos nesta missão há seis anos, mas democratizar este conhecimento nunca foi tão importante.

A CryptoRave é uma festa/encontro/evento aberto e gratuito - o maior deste tipo no mundo -, onde hackers, ativistas, cypherpunks, estudantes, nerds, pessoas curiosas e interessadas em apropriar-se de práticas de segurança e de proteção de dados pessoais se encontram.

São 24 horas de conversas, debates, trocas e formação na área de segurança, privacidade e criptografia. A programação é toda feita a partir da inscrição de atividades sugeridas pela comunidade, com participação de grandes nomes da segurança, criptografia e privacidade global, pessoas trazidas com o apoio do financiamento coletivo.

Já estiveram na CryptoRave Jérémie Zimmermann, Peter Sunde, André Meister, James Bamford, Sasha Costanza-chock, Harry Halpin, Eva Galperin, Roy Singham, Micah Anderson, Hervé Falciani, Paulo Barreto, Diego Aranha, Nick Calyx, Anne Roth, Torsten Grote, Sergio Amadeu, David Miranda, entre outros/as.

Tradicionalmente, ao final dos debates e atividades, uma grande festa encerra o evento.

A edição deste ano (a sexta consecutiva!!) será nos dias 03 e 04 de maio, em São Paulo (o local será divulgado posteriormente). E sim, só tem CryptoRave se for coletado 100% do valor em financiamento coletivo.

Neste ano teremos seis ambientes com trilhas temáticas, incluindo Política, Hacking, Gênero e Tecnologia, além do já conhecido Install Fest. :-)

São eles:

Aaron Swartz // debates e discussões sobre leis de privacidade, uso da criptografia, neutralidade da rede e outros temas relacionados à regulamentação da internet

Chelsea Manning // apresentações e palestras sobre práticas de segurança da informação e os últimos avanços em aparatos de vigilância

Edward Snowden // desmistificação e compartilhamento de técnicas de hacking e exploração dos limites da internet

Alan Turing // oficinas práticas de instalação e uso de ferramentas de comunicação segura, privacidade e proteção de dados

Ada Lovelace // espaço protagonizado por mulheres cis e trans. A criptografia é para todos os corpos, corações e mentes

Install Fest // instalação de sistemas operacionais livres GNU/Linux (Debian, Tails)

Além disso tudo, a CryptoRave é um evento hacker permeado por arte e cultura hacker e uma festa de encerramento!!

Você pode inscrever sua atividade até 31 de março no chamado para atividades.

A CryptoRave é um evento organizado de forma voluntária, encabeçado pelos coletivos Actantes, Escola de Ativismo, Encripta Tudo, Intervozes e Saravá, mas realizado colaborativamente por muitos indivíduos.

Para garantir um evento realmente independente, a CryptoRave tem uma política de doações e um ideal onde todas as despesas sejam cobertas por contribuições voluntárias.

Os recursos arrecadados aqui serão utilizados única e exclusivamente para a realização do evento. Não haverá nenhum honorário, cachê ou outra forma de pagamento ou remuneração para a organização ou para as pessoas convidadas.

Um evento como este, tratando dos temas que trata, não pode ser realizado sem a mobilização distribuída de muitos esforços. Por isso o financiamento é colaborativo e seu apoio fundamental.

Se a vigilância é centralizada, a resistência será distribuída!

Inspired by the international CryptoParties movement, CryptoRave is a collective effort to disseminate the fundamental rights concepts of privacy and freedom online and to extend the adoption of digital security practices and tools (communication with cryptography, among them). We have been on this mission for six years, but democratizing this knowledge just became even more important.

CryptoRave is an open and free party/meeting/event - the largest of its kind in the world - where hackers, activists, cypherpunks, academics, nerds and curious people from around the world, as well as people interested in taking advantage of security and protection practices, get together.

There are 24 hours of conversations, debates, swap and training in security, privacy and encryption. The schedule is built from online inscription of activities, suggested by the community, and by invites to great names of the security, encryption and global privacy community. These people are brought with the support of the crowdfunding.

At the end of the CryptoRave, a cool party closes the event.

This year's edition (the sixth !!) will be on May 3 and 4, in São Paulo (the address will be announced soon).

There will be six spaces with different themes and functions:

Aaron Swartz // debates and discussions on net neutrality and other topics related to internet regulation

Chelsea Manning // presentations and lectures on the latest advances on information security, vigilance and vulnerabilities

Edward Snowden // demystification and sharing of hacking techniques and exploring of the limits of the internet

Alan Turing // practical workshops on the installation and use of secure communication, privacy and data protection tools

Ada Lovelace // space that democratizes access to people who suffer from gender inequality. Encryption is for all bodies, hearts and minds

Install Fest // installation of free operating systems GNU/Linux (Debian and Tails)

CryptoRave is a hacker event full of art and hacker culture and that has a real party in the end!!!

INDEPENDENCE

CryptoRave is an event organized on a volunteer basis, led by collectives Actantes, Escola de Ativismo, Encripta Tudo, Intervozes and Saravá, but made collaboratively by many individuals.

To ensure a truly independent event, CryptoRave's donation policy and ideal requires all its expenses to be covered by voluntary contributions.

The funds raised here will be used solely and exclusively for the event. There will be no payment for the organizations or people invited to CryptoRave.

An event like this, dealing with these themes, can not be realized without the distributed deployment of many efforts. Therefore, funding is collaborative and support is fundamental.

If surveillance is centralized, the resistance will be distributed.
