Olá, somos o Ba-Boom, banda independente do ABC Paulista, com mais de 11 anos de estrada, e estamos prestes a lançar nosso primeiro CD. Gravado durante o ano de 2011, o disco conta com a produção musical, mixagem e masterização de Sergio Soffiatti, da OBMJ, e participações de Felippe Pipeta (também da OBMJ), do tecladista Cauê Gruber, das cantoras Ana Guimarães e Dena Hill, do cantor, compositor e multinstrumentista André Abujamra, além dos 10 músicos que compõem a banda.
Nesses 11 anos, todo o dinheiro arrecadado sempre foi investido nesse projeto. Ou seja, nós, músicos, desde o início abrimos mão de todo o nosso cachê para custear este projeto e, ainda assim, o dinheiro não tem sido suficiente.
Por isso, pedimos sua ajuda. Através do CATARSE, é possível que projetos como o nosso sejam concretizados pelo esforço conjunto. Com contribuições a partir de R$ 15, você poderá nos ajudar com os custos da produção do CD e receber uma contrapartida. Aliás, esta colaboração alcança algo mais do que a simples produção de um disco, é a realização de um sonho, depois de tantos anos trabalhando e lutando por aquilo que acreditamos.
Fazemos música por amor, com amor, e ao mesmo tempo buscamos o profissionalismo e a qualidade do trabalho. Queremos viver dignamente com a música e, aqui no Brasil, esse é um grande desafio. Significa enfrentar o preconceito e as dificuldades financeiras, principalmente quando falamos de música independente. Não temos grandes gravadoras ou empresários que nos financiem, contamos apenas com nós mesmos e com a ajuda daqueles que acreditam na gente. Contribuindo, você estará também fortalecendo esse cenário musical do ABC Paulista, região cheia de talentos, mas que ainda tem muito pra alcançar em termos de estrutura e suporte para os grupos. Hello, we are the Ba-Boom a independent band from Brazil, with over 11 years of road and we are about to release our first CD. Recorded during the year 2011, the album has music production, mixing and mastering by Sergio Soffiatti from OBMJ featuring: Felippe Pipeta (also from OBMJ); keyboard player Cauê Gruber; the singers Ana Guimarães and Dena Hill; the singer, composer and multi-instrumentist Andre Abujamra and of course all the 10 band’s members.
Over these 11 years all the incoming money from shows has always been invested into this project, that means that all the musicians from the band have given up all our fee to fund this project and yet the money has not been enough.
So we ask your help. Projects like “CATARSE”, a crowd found website, has made it possible that projects like ours are implemented by our joint effort. The contributions may start from $10, with this money you can help us with the costs of producing the CD and receive reward as exchange. In fact this collaboration achieves something more than the mere production of a CD, is par of making a dream coming true after so many years working and fighting for what we believe.
We make music for love, with love, and at the same time we look for professionalism and quality of work. We want to live with dignity as musicians and here in Brazil this is a great challenge. It means facing prejudice and financial difficulties, especially when it comes to independent music. We do not have major labels or a business magnate to fund us, we have only ourselves and with the help of those who believe in us. By contributing, you are also strengthening the music scene from Brazil a country full of talent, but that still has a lot to achieve in terms of structure and support groups.
